Retail Gondolas / Island Units
Make use of all of your available retail space with retail gondola units from Dragon and maybe mix with our merchandising units to provide a varied and attractive shop-floor display. They can be made up with accessories to suit exactly what you want because you know best what you want to achieve. They are strong, go together easily and really look good.
Our gondolas, or ‘island units’ are made to match our Slimpost wall posts, so can easily be combined with our Twinslot (System1) to provide a sleek and stylish retail display system. It also means that they can be used with a wide variety of accessories, so it fits your individual needs. Or, if you are using our square or rectangular post on your wall system, we also make them to order in the same section to match.
Design Your Own Gondola Unit
Our gondola units are designed with the retailer in mind. We understand that not everyone’s retail space is the same, and you know best what you want to achieve, which is why we have 3 different lengths and 2 different heights so you can make the most of the space available.
Use the basic frame as a starter, and then add whatever hanging, shelving, or other display formats you need. Glass or wooden tops, baseboards and centre panels, plus various end accessories are all available as options. Standard finish is a light silver-grey, but for a little extra we can make them in other finishes.
Dimensions
The basic unit consists of 2 legs (or “uprights”) and a set of 2 connectors, and you can extend the length of your display by adding units. The unit has a nominal height of 1.4m, or 1.6m (made to order) and is extendible to 2m or 2.3m with the height extensions. Connectors are available for 1m, 1.2m or 0.6m module lengths. The width is 0.75m without base-boards, or 0.84m with.
